We presented a short and incomplete section from the lives of the Caucasian immigrants who were settled in a new place called Uzuntarla in the Izmit sanjak of the Ottoman Empire in 1879. It's a short, very short section. Due to my age, I could not see the people who founded the village. But I caught up with the second generation. I benefited from their observations and stories as much as I could. Who knows what values have been lost over time. Many values are lost when passed from generation to generation. Important sages of our village, folk philosophers, those whose values we could not know while they were alive... These lines are definitely not history. Only 140 years have passed since Hacemko Murat, the first resident of Uzuntarla, settled here. When we consider tens of thousands of years of history, this period is like the blink of an eye. What great changes we have experienced in such a short time.
